Roses are red and Violets are blue, so how can Christmas be white?

4. Actually Christmas is not a season but a holiday.I do not see how roses and violets are related to Christmas.I may be missing something here. A white Christmas is the pleasant stereotype that people like to imagine.Not every Christmas is white obviously.For example it didnt snow on Christmas here.
