Is it corny or childish to start a love poem with roses are red violets are blue?
Public Comments
- too cliche
- In my honest opinion, yes I think it is.
- It's not so much a love poem if you do, but a rhyme. It can be very funny or very witty but it is still only a rhyme
- I have to say, it is childish. No offence.
- If you make the rest sincere and use roses are red violets are blue as background, like how writing that would be insincere. Then say her lips are like rose pedals, and her eyes are like blue violets. So by using insincerity you make what you write look more sincere.
